7:00 p.m Faculty Recital featuring principal players from The Philadelphia Orchestra, Concerto Competitions, Solo Performance Hours, Chamber Music Performance, group trip to Philadelphia Orchestra concert (with pre-concert tour of Kimmel Center/Mann Music Center) or other regularly-scheduled evening event.

Our evening program begins at 7:00 p.m. each day. This schedule is a sample only and is subject to change.

  • Wednesday, June 10: Play-In with members of The Philadelphia Orchestra
  • Thursday, June 11: Chamber Coachings with members of The Philadelphia Orchestra
  • Friday, June 12: Fee Evening.
  • Saturday, June 13: All- Instruments Master Class presented by Kimberly Fisher, Principal Second Violinist, Philadelphia Orchestra, featuring competition winners and other All-Stars from previous Strings International Music Festival programs.
  • Sunday, June 14: Faculty Recital, featuring members of The Philadelphia Orchestra.
  • Monday, June 15: Free Evening.
  • Tuesday, June 16: Strings 2009 Concerto Competition.
  • Wednesday, June 17: Master Classes presented by members of The Philadelphia Orchestra.
  • Thursday, June 18: All-Star Solo Performance Hour.
  • Friday, June 19: Chamber Music with Members of the Philadelphia Orchestra.
  • Saturday, June 20: Music House performance at Philadelphia Orchestra concert.
  • Sunday, June 21: Faculty Recital featuring members of The Philadelphia Orchestra.
  • Monday, June 22: Philadelphia Orchestra Concert at the Mann Music Center.
  • Tuesday, June 23: Ocean City Pops Concert featuring Strings 2006 Concerto Competition winner.
  • Wednesday, June 24: Music House Solo Performance Recital.
  • Thursday, June 25: Music House Chamber Music Recital.
  • Friday, June 26: Early Dismissal.
